The Team Leader course is designed for those bodyguards who wish to organise and manage a Bodyguard operation and the team functions of Client Interview, preparing operational orders, Managing the Protective Escort and Transport options in addition to Security Advanced Parties, Residence Team from the perspective of the International Bodyguard Association and Government Protective Services. The key to a successful protection operation is management from the point of initiation. An understanding is required of contract law and Health & Safety obligations in securing the Principal, their family and staff. The focus must be on prevention and this is only possible through proper planning and preparation. After the initial interview of the principal, the threat assessment is prepared to identify the level of threat and the appropriate measure required.
